Prediction Skating

Prediction Skating.png

Prediction Skating is a unique and inclusive event that combines the joy of skating with strategic pacing and time awareness. Rather than racing against others, participants aim to complete a set distance in a time they predict beforehand, without the use of timing devices. The goal is to finish as close as possible to the predicted time. This event has its roots in community skating traditions and has become a popular feature of the Ontario 55+ Games, offering a fun and accessible challenge that focuses on consistency, control, and participation for all skill levels.
